Nearing the end of production

Today marks the 2nd last week of our game's Beta phase, which doesn't quite feel like beta should. Truth be told, earlier I was beginning to feel as though we had bitten off more than we could chew. Then I thought back to every time I've felt that way during a long-term project, and I remembered that this is just a natural part of the agile development process. I decided that we needed to stay agile, so naturally our team pivoted, scrapping content we didn't deem necessary anymore and our sole focus switched to bug-fixing and polishing.

This upcoming week there's a lot on everyone's plate, but the workload seems manageable to us and the likelihood of us polishing our game sufficiently by our Release Candidate and Gold Master phases is still high according to our remaining Jira tasks and current burndown.

It seems likely that we may enter production again this summer to begin production on a 2nd update.
